Maiden Avalon's Roots... where have we been? where are we going?

About Maiden Avalon: Grown from decades of making, teaching, travelling and following the deeper roots of handcraft, our little cottage industry has changed over the years from a home hobby farm, to a regular farmer's market presence and now we are launching our own folks schools with in-house studio apprenticeships!
From fibre animals and dye pots to children, classrooms, marketplaces and collaborative studios, my work has taught me that these experiences are all part of one long Sacred Thread - connecting material, maker, craft, community and the passing of knowledge from one pair of hands to the next.
Today, Maiden Avalon is where those threads come together through handwork, clothing, Folk School experiences, creative gatherings and the continuing adventure of making things by hand.
